Biggest SCAM
i have been a member of Match better known by me as the biggest SCAM! for less then 3 months. i have had no matches when i went cancel my three month subscription i was told No your locked in for a year. I was shocked i then pleaded to get out of the contract since no hits. I was told to change my answers on the Question portion. So lie to get dates great site to belong to.

Crappy site! They make it difficult to deactivate account. The only way to delete my account was by saying I met someone on Match.. also there is no way to contact anyone unless you pay.. What Crap!

Do you know what is called power? Match.com is one of the great example: They terminated my account without telling me what was the reason but I have done nothing weirdly or illegally!!! I sent them many many many times of the request pleased them at least give me a reason why they should terminated my account in anything should I fix my account profile to qualify their policy or such, but their corporation department each times just sent me their link about the policy—long pages—but I still didn’t find anything about me being violated their policies so got this termination, I am just a real person with a real hope paid the 6 month membership and got on their site, yet only used a month but being “kicked” out of their site without reason/s…

1 star is too much for this ite, you should be allowed to rate it the 0 stars it deserves. Read their privacy policy before you even think about signing up, what they can get away with is disgraceful, they should have to highlight their privacy policy in clear easy to see writing before tricking people to sign up. This is an awful app and an awful company, do not make the mistake that I did and read their privacy policy and then go to another dating app that doesn’t exploit their users information for revenue. Also avoid Badoo as they also own Badoo which is just as bad if not worse.

There are so many dead profiles
There are so many dead profiles, the reason for this is that they make it so hard to deactivate your profile. So you end up writing hundreds of letters and there is no response.

It is terminated my account for NO VALID REASON. They refuse to refund me the $129.99 I paid for 6 months and only used it for 3 months because they sent me an email saying they decided to terminate my account as if I’m some kind of Nigerian scam or prostitute. Buyer beware. The WORST dating website.

I was unhappy
I joined this site and after a week saw that it wasn’t performing like I had hoped. The amount of people available and the amount I liked and messaged versus how many of them viewed my profile. So I was unhappy after a week and called customer service for a refund. They refused to give me one, said I only had 2 days to do that. I told them just prorate it for the week I used. They refused and have stuck me with a service I don’t want for 6 months. SO REMEMBER IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL YOU HAVE 2 DAYS!!!

I was hacked one time
I was hacked one time by someone else claiming to be and literally contacted over 100 people, several times had someone contact me and tell me they have a friend contact them directly, when in fact they were hackers, and now that my subscription has expired got a email from a phisher saying my account was charged for a 3 month membership. I think their security is very poor, and never met one person after 6 months of membership. But like someone else said after the subscription expired, lots of claims of people who wanted to meet me.

Fake profiles
I signed up 1 month age, from the 50 profiles I contacted, 45 were fake profiles, scammers, had 1 phone conversation, and 4 so far have not contacted me back. I assume fake profiles. In my opinion this was a waste of money. When I sign in I notice a large amount of activity, and receive about 5 flirts in 10 minutes.?? Is this scamming algorithm? You can judge for yourself. My opinion it’s a waste of money, too many scammers and fake profiles on this site.

Not happy
I have had over £209 taken out of my account and I have not authorised this. My membership says 6mths to. 21.12.21. I cannot afford this, I cannot get hold of anyone to talk to. My friend overseas was catfished by someone on this site and he still operates even though this site is aware of him. I will be taking this further. Not happy.

They take your money
If there is even the smallest smudge on your past record – no matter how long ago – the site will alert anyone you message and warn them against you… without you knowing what is going on. They take your money and then make it impossible to make any connections.

I’m really disgusted with this site. Six month into a twelve months plan they charged me for another plan that I did not subscribe to. They charged me $658.80 for the new plan! I emailed them, explained the situation, and they didn’t help and even wrote at the end of the email that their “decision was final”. Reading between the lines, they weren’t to listen to me or help me resolve the problem. I reached out to Fair Trading, explained my situation and had a case manager work on my behalf. They were able to contact this site and get my money back. I’m shocked with this behavour. Stay away from this awful company.

I regret wasting my time
This website used to be great, now it’s this annoying thing that I regret wasting my time joining. I can’t seem to find how to just browse people’s profiles without doing the like or don’t like swiping thing, so you only see 1 person at a time. Could be there forever! Mind you, 100 plus likes on my profile and not a single message yet? Nah, this is crap now. Will unjoin because it’s not at all user friendly. Also can’t see how to set to show only users in my location, I did that in the settings and it made no different. Only shows ppl in foreign countries!
